Electrode shipping update
of February 1, 2017.
The post office increased the rate to ship the small flat rate box
on January 22nd, 2017.
As of February 1, 2017,
our minimum shipping rate
for electrode only-shipments increased to our new cost
to send the small flat rate box which is $ 7.15 per order.
This is the new rate for orders that contain electrodes only and it is valid for shipments within the USA.
To "sweeten the deal", French Creek Medical will hold the shipping rate constant at $7.15 for electrode-only shipments regardless of how much the box weighs or how many electrodes are put into the box as long as the order contains electrodes only.
For example: A customer orders 100 packs of electrodes.
The shipment no longer fits into a small flat rate box.
Meanwhile, the box grows
more and more heavy
with electrodes.
Nevertheless,
French Creek Medical
will keep the shipping rate at the same low cost
of $ 7.15 as long as the order contains electrodes only.
If the order contains items
other than electrodes
(such as 13-pounds of ultrasound gel)
then the shipping cost for the order
will be based on
the actual shipping weight of the order.
Please note, when ordering online
the freight algorithm
that we use is weight-based.
For this reason, the freight algorithm
may calculate a higher rate (at first)
for an order containing electrodes only.
Then, when we process the order,
we look to see if the order contains electrodes only.
If the order contains electrodes only
then we will manually lower the rate
on the admin. side of the website
to the $ 7.15 rate before we process
the order that contains electrodes only.
You'll usually see a note on the receipt:
"Freight has been lowered to $ 7.15 rate.
Order contains electrodes only."
